Math- I can use the strategies count on, doubles, doubles plus 1, and doubles minus 1 to practice addition facts within 20. I can use a ten frame to add 10 and an addend less than 10. I can use a ten frame as a strategy to find sums within 20. I can use numbers to show how to use the make a ten strategy to add. ** We are currently up to lesson 2.5 in Math. I have sent home the doubles facts so that the girls can memorize them. I have alse made a copy of the doubles plus 1 problem the girls are having difficulties with.
Science- I can sort objects by observable properties, such as size, shape, color, temperature (hot or cold), weight (heavy or light), texture, and whether objects sink or float. I can demonstrate and describe the various ways that objects can move, such as in a straight line, zigzag, back-and-forth, round-and-round, fast, and slow. I can demonstrate that the way to change the motion of an object is by applying a push or a pull.
Social Studies- . I can recognize symbols and individuals that represent American constitutional democracy.
